Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Prices See Upward Revision
News by Team Drivio | 15 May 2023
The RE Super Meteor 650 across variant line-up gets costlier by about Rs 5000. At 241kg, it’s also the most expensive Royal Enfield bike.
- Its heart is the 648cc parallel-twin mill.
- We’ve previously seen it in the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.
- Prices for it now begin from Rs 3.54 lakh (ex-showroom)
Only a few months after it was introduced, Royal Enfield quietly increased the cost of the Super Meteor 650 for all three types by Rs 5,000.
RE Super Meteor 650 Variant | Previous Price | New Price | Hike |
Astral | Rs 3,48,900 | Rs 3,54,398 | Rs 5,498 |
Interstellar | Rs 3,63,900 | Rs 3,69,622 | Rs 5,722 |
Celestial | Rs 3,78,900 | Rs 3,84,845 | Rs 5,945 |
The base Astral is offered for Rs 3.49 lakh and comes in three single-tone colours: black, blue, and green. The two Interstellar models are essentially similar apart from the mid-spec Interstellar's two dual-tone paint colours of grey and green and its higher asking price of Rs. 3.64 lakh. The big front windscreen, touring seat, and pillion backrest are included as standard equipment on the top-of-the-line Celestial, raising the cost to Rs 3.79 lakh.
All of these accessories are compatible with the Astral and Interstellar models, and RE's extensive accessory selection will provide potential Super Meteor 650 consumers even more options for fine-tuning and customization. According to Royal Enfield, these prices are not introductory. Bookings for the Super Meteor 650 can be made as of right now, and deliveries will start on February 1.
We in India got to view the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 up close at Rider Mania late last year, where Royal Enfield also permitted participants to pre-book its flagship cruiser. The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 was introduced to the world at EICMA 2022. As opposed to the current 650 twins, the Super Meteor 650 features an all new frame and two Royal Enfield firsts- a robust 43mm Showa front fork and an LED headlight.
