- Biggest change though, is a new smart key.
Honda has launched the 2023 Activa 125, with prices ranging from Rs 78,920 for the base drum variant to Rs 88,093 for the top H-Smart variant (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The updated model now meets OBD2 emission standards, which go into effect on April 1.
What are the New Honda Activa 125 variants?
It comes in four different styles and trims. And these include drum, drum alloy, disc, and H-Smart, and in five different colours. The new Activa 125 now comes with a small apron-mounted storage compartment for small trinkets. The underseat storage space has also been redesigned to accommodate your stuff better.
The big difference is the new Activa 125 H-Smart variant, which, like its smaller sibling the Activa 6G, gets a key fob (rather than a physical key) with remote locator, proximity unlock, and one-touch ignition.
How is the New Honda Activa 125 engine different from previous model?
The 2023 Honda Activa 125 retains the same 124cc air-cooled engine, with a minor increase in power and torque to 8.3PS and 10.4Nm, respectively, up from 8.29PS and 10.3Nm. As previously stated, it uses OBD-2 technology to comply with updated emissions standards in real time. The new low-friction tubeless tyres may help improve fuel efficiency, and the three-step adjustable rear suspension may make the overall ride quality more comfortable.
As a family scooter, the Activa 125 competes with other such scooters in this segment, namely the TVS Jupiter 125, Suzuki Access 125, Hero Destini 125 and Hero Maestro Edge 125, and Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid.
