Striking New Look with LED Headlights
One of the most noticeable changes in the 2024 Pulsar NS lineup is the introduction of a brand-new LED headlight cluster. Bajaj has maintained the iconic inverted triangle design of the headlight cluster, preserving the NS' distinctive identity while incorporating the latest LED technology. The seamless integration of LED lights and integrated daytime running lights (DRLs) gives the motorcycles a fresh and modern appearance.
Bluetooth-Enabled Digital Instrument Cluster
In addition to the sleek new headlights, Bajaj has also revamped the instrument cluster on the Pulsar NS160 and NS200. The new reverse LCD instrument panel features Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to pair their smartphones with the cluster using a dedicated app.
This innovative feature allows riders to view incoming call and SMS notifications, as well as turn-by-turn navigation guidance to their desired destination, directly on the instrument cluster.
Unchanged Mechanical Specifications
While the 2024 Pulsar NS models boast impressive technological advancements, Bajaj has chosen to retain the core mechanical specifications that have made these motorcycles popular among riders. The shape of the bodywork, the chassis, the upside-down (USD) fork, and the monoshock suspension remain unchanged, ensuring a familiar and refined riding experience.
Engine and Performance Capabilities
The Pulsar NS160 continues to be powered by a 160.03cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 17.03 bhp of power and 14.6 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Pulsar NS200 retains its 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, generating 24.13 bhp of power and 18.74 Nm of torque. Both engines will be compatible with E20 fuel, aligning with the industry's shift towards cleaner and more sustainable fuel options.
Pricing and Availability
Bajaj Auto is expected to reveal the updated pricing for the 2024 Pulsar NS160 and NS200 models in the near future. Given the enhanced technology and features, the company is likely to increase the prices by a few thousand rupees compared to the outgoing models. However, the exact price hike remains to be seen.
With these upgrades, Bajaj Auto has once again demonstrated its commitment to staying ahead of the curve in the highly competitive Indian two-wheeler market. The revamped Pulsar NS160 and NS200 are poised to captivate motorcycle enthusiasts with their blend of performance, technology, and style.
