However, TVS now faces a formidable contender in the form of the recently launched Hero Xtreme 160R 4V. Having had ample time to meticulously study its competitors, the Indian manufacturer has launched an assault with focused determination. It is commendable that Hero has managed to make the Xtreme nearly as outstanding as the Apache, warranting credit for their efforts. The competition between these two motorcycles is fierce, highlighting the impressive capabilities of both brands.

But what the Xtreme 160R has successfully done, is bridge the gap between sportier motorcycles such as the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar NS160, as well as commuter-focused models like the Yamaha FZ-Fi Version 3.0 and Suzuki Gixxer. Through this modification, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V has achieved a sportier appearance while retaining its practicality for everyday commuting. 

However, it's important to note that the bike's weaknesses lie in the absence of dual-channel ABS and a limited range of features. Despite these limitations, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V manages to strike a balance between style and functionality, catering to riders seeking a versatile and enjoyable riding experience.
