News by Team Drivio | 21 Mar 2024

The all-new Ather Rizta will be the first-ever family-oriented unisex scooter with a more conventional design than the sharper-looking 450X

  • The new Ather Rizta gets a wider apron with an LED headlamp and turn indicators placed on its lower part.
  • The Rizta is expected to get 450X’s full-TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity.
  • It will rival the likes of Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube and Ola S1 Air.

Ahead of the “Ather Community Day” on April 6th, Ather Energy has revealed more details of its upcoming electric scooter ‘Rizta’ through visual teasers on its social media channels. In one of the videos uploaded by Swapnil Jain, co-founder of Ather Energy, the upcoming Ather Rizta is shown in a fully camouflaged form, revealing a few of its highlights.

The visual teaser of the new Ather Rizta shows the electric scooter going through a water-wading test. While the scooter on test is shown in a fully camouflaged form, the scooter is confirmed to get a sleek-looking, bar-type LED headlamp placed on the lower part of the apron, with turn indicators placed on its sides.

The video also shows the Ather Rizta electric scooter with a telescopic front fork and a wide front tyre, which are expected to be in the production-spec of the scooter. It also gets rearview mirrors wider than those of the Ather 450X but shares its full-TFT instrument console equipped with Bluetooth connectivity. The overall layout and graphics of the TFT display look the same as those of the unit in the Ather 450X.

More details of the Ather Rizta scooter will surface on April 6th, when the scooter will make its public debut. Touted to be the first family-oriented unisex scooter from Ather, the new Rizta will compete with TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and Ola S1 Air.
