The new Xtreme 160R 4V is equipped with a new and better engine. It has a 4-valve air-cooled engine with an oil cooler, which is more powerful than the previous 2-valve model. The new engine produces 16.9PS of power and 14.6Nm of torque, compared to the 15.2PS and 14Nm of the older model. The upgrade to a 4-valve engine is expected to bring more refinement and excitement.
The Xtreme 160R already had LED lighting and a digital console, which has been retained in the 4V version as well. However, the standard variant now has smartphone connectivity with call and SMS alerts. The switchgear has also been updated to give a more premium look.
With the new 4-valve engine and improved performance, the Xtreme 160R will compete with the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar N160, and Suzuki Gixxer more effectively. Despite the added features, the Xtreme 160R remains the most affordable 160cc bike in its segment. Deliveries of the bike are expected to start from the second week of July 2023.
