The company delivered the first batch of 15 scooters at its inaugural event and claims to have received more than 1 lakh bookings.
Simple Energy is also on an expansion spree, with the company now expanding the number of its stores to 160-180 in 40-50 cities. The Simple One comes standard with a 5kWh lithium-ion battery, which claims a maximum IDC-claimed range of 212 km. With this electric motor, the Simple One claims to go from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.77 seconds and achieve a top speed of 105 kmph. The scooter also has features like a 7-inch touch-controlled TFT instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity, all-LED lighting, OTA updates and four riding modes – Eco, Ride, Dash and Sonic.
