Unlike the 450 lineup, the new Ather Rizta has been introduced as a family-oriented scooter with a more unisex design and added features.
- The new Ather Rizta is available in three variants – S 2.9kWh, Z 2.9kWh and Z 3.7kWh.

After a long wait, Ather Energy has pulled the wraps off from its next significant product, the Rizta electric scooter. Compared to the 450 lineup, the new Ather Rizta has a more conventional unisex design like other family-oriented scooters. Launched in three variants – S 2.9kWh, Z 2.9kWh and Z 3.7kWh, the prices of the new Rizta electric scooter start at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Ather scooter takes on TVS iQube, Ola S1 X+, Simple One and Bajaj Chetak.

The newly introduced Ather Rizta has a boxy and rounded design, with sleek LED headlamps and tail lamps with integrated LED turn indicators. The new Rizta also shares its fully digital instrument consoles – “DeepView” LCD in S and full-TFT in Z variants – with the Ather 450 lineup but gets a bigger seat with a more spacious under-seat storage space of 34 litres. There is an additional “frunk”, which is offered as an option and adds 22 litres in storage capacity.
Based on an all-new frame, a bit different from the 450 lineup, the new Ather Rizta gets features like two riding modes (Zip and SmartEco), reverse mode, hill hold control and Magic Twist. It also gets traction control, the first for an electric scooter. Weighing 119 kg, the Ather Rizta has a seat height of 780mm and a ground clearance of 165mm.
