After months of hype and speculation, Aprilia has finally revealed the pricing for the arresting new RS457 sport bike. Carrying a Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom) sticker, the twin-cylinder machine guns straight for the newly launched Yamaha YZF-R3.
Aggressive RSV4-Inspired Styling
The RS457 derives its razor-sharp looks from Aprilia’s RSV4 superbike icon. Sleek twin LED lamps shape the front end while the side fairing incorporates the RSV4's signature design lines. The rear sweeps up aggressively and comes finished with a two-piece seat. Power comes from a 457cc, liquid-cooled, 8-valve DOHC twin-cylinder motor paired with a 6-speed transmission. Tuned to spin freely to 10,750 rpm with a strong mid-range punch, the motor puts out 47hp, promising an exciting riding experience. An optional quick shifter allows for full-throttle upshifts sans clutch for uninterrupted acceleration.
