Suzuki Two-wheelers India Registers Highest-Ever Monthly SalesIn October 2023

The previous highest monthly domestic sales for Suzuki Motorcycle India stood at 81,666 units in March 2022.
- Suzuki Motorcycle India registered domestic sales of 84,302 units in October 2023, a growth of 15%.
- This is the highest-ever monthly domestic sales recorded by SMIPL since it started operations in India.
- The sales in October 2023 were driven by strong demand for Suzuki's scooters, primarily Access 125 and Burgman Street.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) recorded its highest-ever monthly domestic sales in October 2023, retailing 84,302 units in the Indian market. This marks a 15% YoY growth over October 2022, when Suzuki had sold 73,009 units. The previous highest monthly domestic sales for Suzuki Motorcycle India stood at 81,666 units in March 2022.
The Access 125 continued to be Suzuki's highest-selling model, recording sales of 28,462 units in October 2023. The Suzuki Burgman Street scooter registered sales of 22,547 units during the month. In the motorcycle segment, the Suzuki Gixxer series recorded combined sales of 19,102 units, while the Intruder contributed sales of 5,987 units.

Suzuki Motorcycle India had launched the updated Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 in September 2023, which helped spike demand for the fully-faired motorcycle last month. SMIPL also exports its two-wheelers to international markets, but export numbers are not available currently.
The Access 125 scooter features an easy start system, external fuel fill, and large under-seat storage. The Burgman Street is a premium maxi scooter with a relaxed riding position and ample legroom. Whereas, Gixxer motorcycles are powered by advanced 155cc and 250cc engines and offer great handling dynamics. The Suzuki Intruder cruiser features a 155cc air-cooled engine and comfortable low-slung ergonomics.
