New Ola S1 Range Attracts More Than 75,000 Bookings!

The new S1 series electric scooters features three distinct models comprising Ola S1 X, S1 Air and S1 Pro.

The new S1 series electric scooters from Ola Electric have received an astonishing market response with 75,000 bookings. This feat was achieved for the Ola S1 X, Ola S1 Air and Ola S1 Pro under the affordable S1 range. Priced between Rs 89,999 to Rs 1.48 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) the S1 series was launched on August 15 alongside the second-generation Ola S1 Pro.

The Ola S1 X is made available in three different trims that is S1 X+, S1 X (2kWh), and S1 X (3kWh). Here the S1 X+ and the S1 X (3kWh), feature a 6kW motor, which carries a large 3kWh battery giving a range of 151km followed by a top speed of 90 kmph. On the other hand, the S1 X (2kWh) also get the similar 6kW motor, and a 2kWh battery pack giving out a reduced 91km range and a top speed of 85 kmph.

According to Ola Electric, the deliveries of the top end model Ola S1 X+ will commence in September 2023. While the Ola S1 X (3kWh) and Ola S1 X (2kWh) scooter deliveries will begin in December this year. 

Further, the second-gen Ola S1 Pro developed on a revised chassis is priced at Rs 1.48 lakh. The Gen-2 S1 Pro features a usual telescopic fork and flat floorboard for more convenience. It comes with a revised IDC ride range of 195km, while the top speed remains at 120 kmph. Lastly, the Ola S1 Air is offered with 101km range and a top speed of 90 kmph with its 3kWh battery pack. Made available in a single variant, the S1 Air is priced at Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
