Honda Dio 125 launched in India at Rs 83,400, gets seven vibrant colours

The price for the top end H-Smart variant is priced at Rs 91,300

Two-wheeler major, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the new Honda Dio 125 in India. Thehigh-on-style scooter is offered in two variants namely Standard and Smart. The base Dio 125 is priced at Rs. 83,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi), whereas the top-end H-Smart one comes at Rs 91,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new Honda Dio 125 draws power from the 125cc, OBD2-compliant, single-cylinder, air-cooled eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) motor. At present, the engine output numbers i.e. the power and torque figures are under wraps. However, the 125cc engine may deliver anything around 8.14 bhp (power) and 10.3 Nm (torque), as witnessed with theHonda Grazia 125 engine.

Aligning to its bold nature in terms of design, as seen on Dio 110, the feature list comprise of  an apron-mounted headlight, attractive body panels, a stylish pillion grab-rail,a dual outlet exhaust and many more. The Honda Dio 125 gets seven colour schemes to choose from, and that include Sports Red, Pearl Night Star Black, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, Pearl Deep Ground Grey, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.

Some of the premium features of stylish 125c scooter include LED headlight, 18-litre under-seat storage, front pocket,side-stand indicator with engine inhibitor, passing switch, etc. While, the H-Smart variant receives functions such as smart find, anti-theft system, front petal-type disc brakeand others besides the keyless start function.

Both the Dio 125 models are backed with segment leading 10-year warranty package (three years standard and seven years optional extension).
