For many Indian buyers, owning a Royal Enfield motorcycle is quite a dream come true. Even before the arrival of superbikes in India, the iconic Royal Enfield Bullet 350, known for its distinctive "dug dug" sound, captured the hearts of Indians. Since then, Royal Enfield has carved out a devoted fan base. If you're one of these enthusiasts, here's how owning a Royal Enfield motorcycle has become more accessible:
Buyback Program
Earlier this week, Royal Enfield introduced a groundbreaking program in the motorcycle industry known as the Assured Buyback Program in collaboration with OTO Capital.
This innovative program from OTO Capital offers a seamless experience for consumers, making it easier for them to upgrade to a Royal Enfield motorcycle. It comes with flexible tenure options ranging from 1 to 3 years, significantly lower Equated Monthly Installments (EMIs, up to 45% lower), and a guaranteed buyback value of up to 77%, depending on the chosen tenure. Additionally, customers will receive a cashback incentive at the end of the tenure, making this initiative a first-of-its-kind in the industry.
At the conclusion of the Assured Buyback tenure, customers have several choices. They can trade in their motorcycle for a brand new Royal Enfield model, retain their current motorcycle, or return it. The key benefit for customers is the combination of lower monthly EMIs and a guaranteed buyback value for their Royal Enfield motorcycle.
Initially, this program will be available at dealerships in 12 cities: Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida, Lucknow, Jaipur, Bhopal, Indore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. Royal Enfield plans to expand this program to more cities in the near future.
How To Avail It?
You can avail this program by simply visiting Royal Enfield’s finance assured buyback website. There, all you will need to do is select the motorcycle, variant, city as well as the EMI tenure. Once you’ve entered those details, you can scroll down to punch in your test ride details. Your name, email ID, pincode and mobile number is all that the website needs, before you click on ‘I accept’ and then on ‘Submit’.
Once you complete this process, Royal Enfield will get in contact with you to take the whole process further. Those who are still a bit confused, can scroll down on the website and read some of the FAQs that Royal Enfield has conveniently laid down there. They should answer most of the common misconceptions or doubts that the general public might have about this new buyback program.
Finance Schemes
Once that you have finalised your dream Royal Enfield bike, you would obviously be looking for finance options. And while Royal Enfield bikes aren’t stupidly expensive, they aren’t exactly cheap and they’re still extremely aspirational even in terms of finance, for most Indians. So those looking for easy finance options can visit the official finance website of Royal Enfield to avail the most of the mouth watering finance schemes that Royal Enfield has on offer for its prospective customers.
There you can click on ‘Calculate your EMI’ to have more details about the kind of EMIs you will be paying according to your down payment and other details. Once you click on it, you will be redirected to a page where you’ll need to enter the state and city details, post which you can click on ‘confirm’.
Once there, you can click on the motorcycle that you have your heart set on and it’ll redirect you to a page where you can see the exact on-road price of the same. For context, here’s the lowest down payment you can make for some Royal Enfield bikes:
RE Bike Model | Down Payment Amount |
---|---|
Royal Enfield Hunter 350 | Rs 4,999 |
Royal Enfield Bullet 350 | Rs 8,999 |
Royal Enfield Classic 350 | Rs 10,999 |
Royal Enfield Meteor 350 | Rs 11,999 |
Bringing home a Hunter 350 with a tiny Rs 4,999 down payment is quite something. If you’re looking for something more particular about your exact model, scroll down on the page and you will be able to see the EMI value of the exact bike that you want. You can then proceed to fill the finance scheme form, filling in your full name, address, pincode and phone number, before clicking the box that asks you about a test ride. Once done with all of that, click on ‘I accept’ and then ‘Submit’.
In case you already have an account on Royal Enfield’s finance website, head there and enter your details by entering either your mobile number or your email ID along with your password.
