Sales Figures Of KTM In October 2023: Increase In MoM, Decrease In YoY Numbers

The heavily updated versions of 250 Duke and 390 Duke have boosted the sales figures of KTM in India, which are only expected to grow even more in the coming months.

• KTM recorded a positive MoM growth of 54.39 percent compared to the sales figures of September 2023.
• Compared to the sales figures of KTM recorded in October 2022, the brand reported a degrowth of 13.1 percent.
• KTM sells multiple iterations of Duke, RC, and Adventure models in the 125-390cc categories.

Riding on the successful comebacks of the recently launched, heavily-updated Duke 250 and Duke 390, KTM India has reported an impressive growth in month-on-month (MoM) sales figures in October 2023. However, in the year-on-year (YoY) sales report, the Austrian brand has reported a decline in its sales performance in the Indian two-wheeler market.

KTM has released the sales figures of its 125 range (Duke 125 and RC 125), 200 range (Duke 200 and RC 200), 250 range (Duke 250 and Adventure 250), and 390 range (Duke 390, RC 390 and Adventure 390) sold in October 2023. Starting with the MoM sales figures, the entire portfolio reported a positive growth of 54.39 percent compared to the sales figures in September 2023.

However, in YoY sales figures, even the hype generated by the new Dukes was not enough to post positive growth. Save for the 390 range, all the other lineups recorded YoY degrowth, eventually resulting in a total decline of 13.1 percent in YoY sales.
