- It gets 18-inch wheels at both ends
Images of the 2023 Hero Super Splendor Xtec have leaked online, just hours before the bike's official release.
What all new 2023 Hero Super Splendor features in its latest iteration?
The new LED headlamp and LED DRL are the most noticeable updates on the updated Super Splendor. A new fully digital LCD unit, similar to the Hero Splendor Xtec, replaces the rather dated-looking three-pod instrument console. It will be Bluetooth-enabled and will primarily display information such as SMS and call alerts, real-time mileage, side-stand engine cut-off, bank angle sensor, and more.
Another improvement is the 125cc engine. With OBD-2 standards set to take effect next month, the updated bike will also be OBD 2 compliant. As a result, the Super Splendor's 10.87PS and 10.6Nm output figures are unlikely to change. The headlamp cowl and visor have been updated to match the updated lighting.
The fuel tank of the new bike also features Xtec branding and graphics. The bike in the video has an elegant grey colour scheme, so expect the bike to get a few new colours as well.
What will be the 2023 Hero Splendor Plus price?
The particular variant of the updated Super Splendor costs Rs 1,04,900 (on road), so we can expect a Rs 3,000-4,000 price increase for all variants. For context, here are the bike's current prices.
Variant | Price (ex-showroom Delhi) |
Hero Super Splendor Drum | Rs 79,118 |
Hero Super Splendor Drum (Black & Accent) | Rs 79,348 |
Hero Super Splendor Disc | Rs 83,018 |
